Antrag auf Verlängerung der Einspruchsfrist zur Angleichung der gegen verschiedene Beklagten laufenden Fristen.

routine
The Munich Local Division granted defendants 3 and 4 a four-day extension of the R. 19.1 RoP Preliminary Objection deadline, harmonising their deadline with that of defendants 1 and 2 after the claimant ultimately consented. The rapporteur reminded the parties that a harmonisation of Preliminary Objection deadlines as such brings no meaningful advantage for case management — such synergies arise only when harmonising Statement of Defence deadlines — and that claims of workload or holiday absence are insufficient grounds for extension where the defendants had several weeks between actual receipt of the claim (06–10 April 2024) and the statutory deadline calculated under R. 271.6(b) RoP (13 May 2024). Because the claimant nonetheless consented, and no serious grounds opposed the extension, the Court applied the principle that agreed procedural extensions are, as a rule, to be granted.
