Zusammenfassung: The Düsseldorf Local Division confirmed a settlement under R. 365.1 sentence 2 RoP, ending proceedings for inspection and preservation of evidence that had been ordered ex parte and executed at a trade fair. The court restated that a confirmed settlement is enforceable as a final decision of the court, and left the costs allocation to the parties' own agreement. Exercising its discretion under R. 365.2 RoP, it ordered the details of the settlement to be treated confidentially and directed that only the decision together with a redacted version of the settlement be entered in the register.
