routine
The Hague Local Division (JR Kokke, with panel members Brinkman and Granata attending) issues a preliminary order following the 5 March 2026 case management hearing held jointly in three parallel Ericsson SEP infringement actions against Transsion and several European distributors. The order records the procedural status: parallel UPC actions in Mannheim and Paris (Paris has a similar provisional confidentiality order), no FRAND-defence instructions yet for Transsion, and SoD deadlines running for two unrepresented distributor defendants. The 13 February 2026 preliminary confidentiality order remains in force, restricting access to Ericsson's (highly) confidential information (including third-party licences) to the Transsion defendants' representatives only — no natural persons on the Transsion side may access. The parties are invited to agree a joint UPC-wide confidentiality regime; failing agreement, the Transsion defendants must respond to Ericsson's R. 262A/262.2 RoP request by 10 April 2026. The JR suggests a phased confidentiality club that may be expanded as the asserted confidentiality of specific evidence is borne out.
