The Paris Local Division aligned the Statement of Defence (SoD) deadline for three Dexcom defendants in an Abbott Diabetes Care infringement action. Following a case management meeting on 5 February 2024 at which all parties agreed a single starting point, the Judge-Rapporteur relied on R. 9.3 and R. 334(a)-(b) RoP to extend and align the R. 23 RoP three-month time limit. The order notes that the agreed extension is reasonable and that alignment is appropriate given the multi-defendant structure. This is a companion order to UPC_CFI_395/2023 (DexCom v Abbott) issued the same day.
