⚖️Action against the decision of the EPO (RoP97)
🌐French
🤖🇬🇧

The principle set out in Article 8(6) of the UPCA, according to which "any panel of the central division dealing with actions under Article 32(1)(i) shall sit in a composition of three legally qualified judges who are nationals of different Contracting Member States", also applies to the procedure prescribed by Rule 97 of the Rules of Procedure, through Article 19 of the Statute, which allows, in urgent cases, the standing judge to carry out all the functions of a panel.

The Paris Local Division issued this order (only available in French) dismissing the appeal against the EPO's decision denying unitary effect.
