What is UPCRoP 047?

This is Rule 047 from the UPCRoP (Verfahrensordnung des Einheitlichen Patentgerichts), which is part of the legal framework governing the Unified Patent Court in Europe.

Legal Text

Examination as to formal requirements, recording in the register, assignment (Court of First Instance, revocation action) and designation of the judge-rapporteur

1.

Rules 16 to 18 shall apply mutatis mutandis.
2.

The Registrar shall notify the European Patent Office that the patent in question is subject to an action for revocation.
